The end of all contests

July 08, 2008 By: Honto Category: Money 2 Comments →

I am sorry to announce that today is the end of “Top Commentator” contest. Recent analysis showed that Google kept my Pagerank to 0 just because of these contests. They said that I can’t encourage visitors to post comments on articles written here, without having an impact on the PR level.

So if I want to improve my PR, I must quit this contest. I congratulate all of you who took advantage of the prizes given here and I’m sorry for those who wouldn’t have a chance to do so.

I just hope that everything will get back to normal.

Presenting Pepperjam Network

July 05, 2008 By: Honto Category: Money 1 Comment →

You noticed that since I lost my Google Adsense account, a new banner came up into my posts. That banner is from Pepperjam Network, an affiliate network helping you to monetize your blog. And now, they have a special offer for the new publishers. They have a 10$ sign-up bonus, that means that you will get 10$ just for completing a form.

Apart from all that, they give you the chance, as a blogger, to earn 50$, just for writing about them. They will pay 10$ a post and maximum 5 posts per month.

Bloggers are the lifeblood of the PJN Publisher Referral program and tend to be our biggest supporters and closet friends. As a result, we thought we’d create a sort of “Pay Per Post” incentive program where any PJN publisher / blogger will receive $10 for each post you make (up to 5 per month) that promotes Pepperjam Network or any Pepperjam Network tool. If you are looking for blog ideas check out the Pepperjam Network blog - www.pepperjamnetwork.com/blog. So that our team can track your efforts and eliminate spam please e-mail bloggers@pepperjamnetwork.com prior to making your post to gain approval of the topic (i.e. I want to write about Pepperjam Chat or the launch of the PJN Blogger Incentive Program, etc.). BTW - of course you can use your PJN Referral Program affiliate links and make even more money every time you post about Pepperjam Network!

They have a very good client support. I sent them an e-mail about my wish to write about their program into my blog and the response came in maximum 2 minutes and even willing to give me advice on how can I obtain more from their offer. Very communicative support! Thank you Pepperjam Network.

Nice ads plugin

June 27, 2008 By: Honto Category: Money 1 Comment →

Down at Max Blog Press you can find the Max Banner Ads which will surely improve your ad view number and ad clicks. It is a Wordpress plugin. Wordpress, in my opinion the most versatile blog program ever made. So if you don’t use Wordpress for your blog, I recommend you to give it a try.

And there’s a new ‘ware breed used by this plugin. Meaning that this is a reviewware. You use it for free and if you liked it then you should make a review on your blog about its capabilities and believe me there are lots of it. Also if you don’t want to write the review, it’s O.K. You still can use it for free.

But no more talking, just look here and be amazed by the multiple options included.

Alternative money makers

June 21, 2008 By: Honto Category: Money No Comments →

Since I just lost my Google Adsense account, I’ve been looking for new ways and opportunities to make money online and I discovered that adsense it’s not the ultimate money maker on the internet. I thought that you should know about it too. After all this is a money maker blog.

Text Link Ads

They deal with selling links on your blog or site. You all should have one in your blog. Usually it’s going in your sidebar, left or right, where ever you want to store it. Of course they establish a price for the links on your blog extracting information from different sources such as Alexa, the RSS subscribers or Google Page Rank. And it’s not too intruding because it’s located in the sidebar and the readers enjoy your blog posts without being hassled by advertisement.

Kontera Content Link

Kontera, as written in its name, deals with content links. What are content links? They’re that special links in your spread out through your posts. They search for special words in your post and they transform them into publicity. When you hover over those words a small popup appears giving your readers the chance to find out more about a product or service related to that word.

There is a trick here. They only accept 500,000 page views per month sites. But, still, I made some research on this and found a way around it. I discovered John Chow. All you have to do to get your Kontera account is to write “John Chow Kontera partnership” into the Comments field after you complete the other details.

Bidvertiser

This one is somehow like Google Adsense but it has a major advantage for smaller sites. The payout is set to minimum 10$. It’s quite an easy payout to reach for sites with small number of viewers. Just like Google it’s a CPC (Cost Per Click) network, or you may say PPC (Paid Per Click).

ReviewMe

ReviewMe help advertisers as bloggers to earn great money. Advertisers buy reviews from bloggers and everybody wins. They establish a price for a review on your blog based on Alexa rank, number of readers and other statistics. So, after you grow your blog this service can bring you great money for a 200 word review.
